Join us for our quarterly MAPP Community Meeting! There will be presentations by ongoing projects in our community that promote one (or more!) of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
OPUS, Accessible Homer, Community Center, Tuyanitun: Tuggeht, and Coalition for Healthy Democracy will be participants this quarter. There will also be time for attendees to network and reconnect with each other.
This is an online-only event via Zoom. Registration is not required - we hope to see you there!
MAPP (Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships) of the Southern Kenai Peninsula is a locally-driven coalition that supports individuals, groups, and organizations in collectively achieving shared goals that increase community resiliency. The backbone support provided includes the ongoing collection of community-level data, convening shared discussions to prioritize issues for action, and empowering community members to build on their strengths and employ a collective impact process to achieve goals. Health is defined broadly to include physical, mental, economic, educational, cultural, and environmental health. Learn more at mappofskp.net.
