December 2, 2025Every first Tuesday from 5-7PM at the SPH Training Center at t 4014 Lake Street, Suite 101, anyone in need can safely & confidentially dispose of used needles & obtain clean needles, and access free resources and information including naloxone (overdose) kits, sanitary products, free rapid on-site HIV/AIDS & Hep-C testing and more.

Additionally, South Peninsula Hospital accepts sharps on the second Wednesday of each month from 1 - 3 p.m. During this time only, sharps will be accepted from the public and only at the loading dock entrance, found on the lower level east side below the main entrance. December 17, 2025Join Anna Raupp for a special Wellness Wednesday talk exploring the unseen arc of the motherhood journey. Drawing from her work with MotherCircle—an 8-week course that guides women through eight domains of motherhood—Anna will share insights into the life stages, body changes, ancestral inheritance, and evolving sense of work and worth that shape this profound experience. She’ll offer insight into the culture of embodied wisdom, mentoring, and camaraderie that circles help restore among women.
This is a one-time presentation, offering inspiration and perspective for mothers and those who support them. An opportunity to sign up for Anna’s upcoming 8-week MotherCircle course will be available, and more information can be found on her website at annaraupp.com.

South Peninsula Hospital, Inc. is non-profit organization governed by an 11-member board of directors which ensures the hospital is fiscally sound while maintaining the quality of care and types of services desired by the residents in the Southern Kenai Peninsula Hospital Service Area.
The board members are appointed to three-year terms upon completing an interview process by the board's Membership Committee.
The Board welcomes and encourages community input for the direction of your hospital. Please plan to attend a meeting (public comments are welcomed at the beginning and end of the meeting), or email a message to them at sphbod@sphosp.org.
