Community Resource Connect (CRC) is a free, one-day event held at the end of January intended for those who are homeless, at risk of being houseless, or for those in need of extra support for their daily living situation.

    • Intended Participants: This event is free and open to all Individuals who are homeless, at risk of houselessness, or anyone needing assistance.

    • Resource Offerings: Groceries, personal hygiene supplies, winter gear, sleeping bags, shower and laundry vouchers, pet supplies, and more.

    • Services and Support: Over 25 vendors offering health screenings, assistance with public assistance sign-ups, local support services, and more.

    • Additional Support: Free transportation, on-site childcare, a coffee station, and lunch are provided to ensure comfort and ease for all attendees.

  • Community Engagement:
    • Volunteers: More than 50 volunteers participate in running the event.

    • Local Support: Numerous local organizations and entities contribute resources and services.

    • Participant Attendance: Over 140 community members attend between the two locations of Homer and Anchor Point. This event occurs concurrently in different locations throughout Alaska, as well as nationally.
