Teams can be small (5-24 members) or big (25+ members) and you have until the challenge begins on June 1 to recruit your members and decide what size division you will be participating in.
Homer Steps Up! is a free community event to promote health & wellness on the Southern Kenai Peninsula.
The challenge will begin on June 1, 2020 and end on June 28, 2020. Winning teams will be awarded the small and big Homer Steps Up! trophies, respectively.
In addition to the two traveling trophies awarded to the highest stepping big and small teams, there are prizes awarded to individual walkers EVERY WEEK and at the end of the challenge! For weekly prizes of Homer Bucks from the Homer Chamber of Commerce we will be drawing winners in three weekly step totals (75,000 or more, 50K-74,999, and 25K-49,999).
For the END of challenge there will be THREE $300 winners (300K or more total steps), three $200 winners (200K-299,999 total steps) and three $100 winners (100K - 199,999 total steps).
