Spit Run

Annual Homer Spit Run - 10k Run to the Bay.  This is a USATF certified 10k course that starts at Homer High School and continues to the end of the spit. 10am race start. This year there will also be a 10k walk starting at 9:00am. Sponsored by South Peninsula Hospital, Homer Community Recreation, Homer News, Land's End, and KBRC.  Post race deck party at Land's End.  Benefits KBRC youth sports programs.  Entry fee is $20 in advance; children age 10 and under $5.  Contact Bill Steyer at 399-1078 for more information.
